Friends

Friends es una serie de televisión norteamericana, creada por Marta Kauffman y David Crane y que se emitió por vez primera el 22 de septiembre de 1994 en la cadena NBC. Trata sobre la vida de un grupo de jóvenes que residen en Nueva York, que quieren pasar lo más bien posible tanto en buenos como en los malos momentos de sus vidas, pero en una crítica cómica a los temas más trascendentales de la actualidad.

Inmediatamente después del éxito en su país, comenzó su difusión por todo el mundo y con los mismos resultados.La serie tiene 10 temporadas de unos 24 capítulos cada una.

Una vez finalizada se rueda un spin-off sobre la vida de Joey, uno de los personajes principales, en Los Ángeles.La canción de la serie es I'll be there for you, compuesta especialmente para la serie por Michael Skloff y Allee Willis para el grupo The Rembrandts.

Muchos fans de la serie tuvieron que comprar el álbum entero de la banda porque inicialmente la canción no estaba disponible en single. Un año mas tarde - en 1995 - el single se editó y alcanzó el primer puesto de las listas británicas y el puesto nº 17 en el ranking de Billboard en EEUU.
